The FPA annual Environment Conference is the industry keynote event for all issues related to the environment and sustainability – issues that are currently driving change and innovation in our sector.
The event attracts the highest level of speakers and is a catalyst for debate, collaboration and innovation. This is the key event to keep members informed of recent and forthcoming legislation, environmental and sustainable issues and the views of relevant NGOs.
Past speakers have included Defra Minister Rebecca Pow, Defra Minister Therese Coffey, Lord Deben, Chairman of the UK's independent Committee on Climate Change, Defra Deputy Director of Resources and Waste Chris Preston and Andy Rees Head of Waste Strategy at the Welsh Government. NGOs that have spoken at FPA conference include WWF, Greenpeace, Extinction Rebellion and Hubbub.
Academics include Professor Louise Manning, Royal Agriculture University, Professor Richard Thompson of the University of Plymouth and Professor David Bucknall from Heriot-Watt University. Paul Vanston from INCPEN and Margaret Bates from OPRL are regular panellists/speakers.
The next Environment Conference will take place early in 2022 and details will be released as soon as they are available. We are hoping that we will be able to revert to an ‘in person event’, having held this year’s event online.Find out more
