Guidelines for offering packaging jobs to Ukraine ciitizens

If you’re an employer, use this form to tell the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the Refugee Employment Network (REN), a charity, about work you can offer to people arriving from Afghanistan or Ukraine https://refugeeemploymentnetwork.co.uk   This includes full-time and part-time jobs.

You will need to provide:

Your company name and contact details

How many roles you have available

The location of the role (if it’s local or national)

Job description

If the role is part-time, full-time or a different working pattern

If English language qualifications are needed

Any support you can offer - for example, relocation packages, mentoring or English lessons

Email the form to:

After your offer is received, you’ll be contacted by someone from the DWP and/or the Refugee Employment Network (REN)

Ukrainian people who hold professional qualifications may need them to be recognised in the UK. Qualifications can be checked free through ENIC (The UK national agency for international qualifications and skills)

SPONSORSHIP

The Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme enables both businesses and individuals to sponsor a named contact, or contacts so allowing Ukrainian nationals and their family members to come to the UK if they have a named sponsor who can provide accommodation for a minimum of 6 months. It is free to apply. 

The process depends on whether you already have a named contact to sponsor. If you do, you must complete a visa application with details of the refugee and your business. The sponsored contact must have been living in Ukraine on or immediately before 1st January 2022, and currently be outside of the UK.

Once the application is processed, the individual will receive a letter confirming they may travel to the UK without a visa.
