FPA MEMBERS' AWARD 2012
To be presented at the FPA Annual Awards, Grand Hotel Brighton on 8 March
It is traditional for the FPA to award an individual within the industry for their work in promoting the Foodservice Packaging industry. It is my intention to continue this award but that in 2012, rather than be selected solely by the Chairman, it should be selected by the FPA membership as a whole. The FPA Members' Award will then truly reflect the will of the membership as a whole adding even more to the honour.
We therefore invite FPA member companies to put forward suggestions for the FPA member they believe should receive the 2012 FPA Members' Award to be presented on the night by a fellow FPA member. This member will stand alongside previous winners of the Chairman and Members Awards such as:
David Marshall
Mike Revell
Peter Bright
Ron Hewitt
Nick Burton
Malcolm Sargent
In considering your suggestion for the individual you think deserves to be recognised please feel free to add a comment to reflect how they have helped our market and the work of the FPA, particularly:
* The ways in which they have shown a deep understanding of how the use of Packaging is vital to the development of the Catering, Hospitality and Foodservice industry.
* How they helped develop the market place through their hard work, determination and imagination, working to develop new products or ideas and being a catalyst for market growth.
* How they have supported the work of the FPA over the course of their time in the industry, promoting the aims of the organisation and the industry to a wider audience.
In the event that there is no clear winner for this year's award a panel of previous winners will be asked for their recomendation from the entries received. For those who do not make it, there is always future years as we continue to grow and thrive as an industry.
We anticipate this award will prove to be a major accolade that reflects the will of FPA members in recognising those individuals who have done so much to make our industry what it is today.
We now invite a nomination from each FPA member company by emailing directly and only to
